I mentioned yesterday that JayBird had unveiled a new set of Bluetooth headphones that allowed the user to make and receive calls. Those headphones have controls on them for skipping and pausing tracks along with other controls.

The problem for iPhone users is that the iPhone doesn't support track control via Bluetooth. This is a huge pain making you have to pull the phone from your pocket to change tracks or pause. JayBird has announced a new app is available on the App Store that adds in AVRCP track control to the iPhone via Bluetooth.

The app is called JayBird Bluetrax and is allows the user to fully control music just like the onscreen controls. I wish the app would work with any Bluetooth device.
