HTC's decision to become the first (and primary) Android phone manufacturer is proving to have been a really good call. HTC Source reports that the company has just revealed their Q2 sales numbers. Their quarterly profits hit $268 million, with over $1.88 billion in sales. This represents a 33% year-over-year improvement.
Q1 of this year was also a record-breaking quarter, which means that HTC is now at two in a row. With the imminent launch of Windows Phone 7 later in this year, HTC could be in for a third straight quarter of record-breaking profits.
