Today, Motorola sent out a press release announcing the launch of the Charm. This candybar smartphone will launch with Android 2.1, MotoBlur and the Backtrack navigation pad, which is mounted on the rear of the phone. The Charm will be available this summer on T-Mobile USA.
It has a 2.8" touchscreen and a front-facing QWERTY keyboard. The Charm comes loaded with a new feature, Moto Phone Portal, which allows you to access and modify your phone via USB or a WiFi connection. This new smartphone comes with Adobe Flash enabled, so you won't have to wait until 2.2 to start watching Hulu. It also has a 3 MP camera with Kodak perfect touch technology.
The Charm is an extremely impressive, and might be the best budget smartphone buy out there if it ends up free on T-Mobile.
