The new video card has all the normal features of the GTX 460 line like 1024MB of GDDR5 RAM, DirectX 11 support, GeForce 3D Vision Ready, SLI support, and PhysX support. The card is also supports CUDA and HDCP. The card plugs into a PCIe 2.0 slot.
The big feature of the Sonic Platinum edition of the GTX 460 is that it is overclocked from the factory. Palit claims that the Sonic Platinum edition is 17.5% faster than the default GTX 460 operating speeds.
