Normal Velcro is a material that is ingenious in its ability to hold many things securely yet have the items it is holding be easily removable at the same time. The problem is that Velcro won't work in industry where weight is high and temps get hot.

A new metal Velcro has surfaced that can hold up to 35 tons per square meter and survive up temps up to 800C. That means that the material could hold five cars while in your oven.

The part I don't get is that the material is supposed to be removable without any special tools. How exactly would you remove something that can hold 35 tons of weight without a special tool?
