Game Trading Technologies, the company that supplies used video games to stores like 7 Eleven and other retail chains, is set to launch an iPhone app that provides users with a comprehensive way to note everything in their video game collection.
The GameBook Mobile app will be released "soon" for the iPhone, and it will let users search through a massive database of games to record what they have in their collection. Users will also be able to scan the UPC of the game boxes to have all the information automatically added.

What's really cool, though, is that Game Trading Technology's internal software that tracks how much each game or product is worth will be incorporated into the app, and it will sync to the Internet in real-time, so that gamers will always know the exact value of their entire collection.

In addition, there will be a Store Locator feature that points users to the nearest stores that sell used games and/or accept trade-ins.

"There exists pricing and demand volatility in the market for pre-owned video games and gaming systems. We have specifically designed GameBook Mobile for those millions of video gaming consumers so that they are able to make timely, well informed trade-in decisions for every title, system, and accessory they own," said Game Traing Technologies president Todd Hayes in a statement.
