The covers prevent the gamers fingers from slipping off the sticks after long game play sessions. The company also claims that the covers help improve the life of your controller because you won't have to press as hard.
The Grip-It covers come four to a set for $4.99 and are blue. They are in retail stores now. These are also good for folks with controllers like mine that a dog chewed the rubber coating off of.
