The Incredible's near constant unavailability will NOT plague the Droid X, according to a statement from Verizon. IntoMobile reports that Big Red recently told CNN that they have "done everything possible" to "ensure we have inventory to meet customer needs around the Droid X".
Of course, this wouldn't be the first time a carrier has been overly optimistic about their supply. The Droid X is available to all VZW subscribers with a 2010 upgrade due, and it is also the phone that Verizon is trying to push would-be Incredible buyers towards. It is still very possible that demand will exceed supply not long after launch. Get there early if you absolutely have to get your X.
