Logitech has unveiled a new set of speakers that offers 5.1 surround sound for gamers and other people who are on a budget. The speakers are called the Z506 and have a retail price of only $99. For that $99 you get surround sound speakers that can be used with the PC and more.

In addition to the PC, the multiple inputs also support connection to a DVD player, PS3, Xbox, and Wii game console. The subwoofer with the system is a ported downward firing unit and the power output of the Z506 is 75W RMS.

The bass control allows you to adjust the bass as loud or quiet as you want. The cables needed to connect to your PC are included with the system and you can pre-order now. An exact launch date is unknown.
