Wicked Lasers has turned around and put that cease and desist letter up on eBay for auction. The bidding at the time of writing was up to $330. That seems like a lot of cash, but this may well be one of the most epic and legendary pieces of idiocy in Lucasfilm history.
The auction winner gets the letter along with clippings that Lucasfilm legal eagles printed out likening the Spyder III laser to a lightsaber. I wonder if the sale will go towards the legal defense for Wicked.
