GE is one of the most common makers of light bulbs in the country. If you go to any store that sells light bulbs odds are they will be selling GE branded bulbs. The company has announced a new iPhone app called the GE Mood Cam.

The app is designed to help the user find the perfect mood lighting for rooms of their home. To use the app you take a picture of a room and then you can apply filters to it to simulate light moods.

Once you find the lighting you like the best, you can tell the app what kind of light bulb sockets are in the room. The app will then generate a list of the bulbs you need so you can go buy them.
