Apricorn has announced a new portable external HDD that is called the Aegis Bio. The drive is encrypted and has biometric security with an integrated fingerprint reader. The biometric sensor keeps people from accessing the drive and the encryption prevents the data theft.
The encryption used for the data is 128-bit AES hardware encryption. The drive is now available in a 640GB capacity and sells for $159. It includes a carry pouch, software, and needed cables.
