Poor Steve Jobs. His moment of triumph has turned into a gigantic mess. This antenna issue has competitors mocking them and rumors of internal issues flying. Apple will be hosting a press conference tomorrow to deal with the issue, but that won't come quickly enough for Senator Charles Schumer.
AppleInsider reports that he has sent off an open letter to Steve Jobs, calling their gestures so far "insufficient" and asking the CEO to "...provide iPhone 4 customers with a clearly written explanation of the cause of the reception problem and make a public commitment to remedy it free-of-charge."
Hopefully, tomorrow's press conference will see just that occur. If it doesn't, Apple is sure to attract more negative attention from people in high places.
