If you've wanted a laptop with a Blu-ray drive, but haven't wanted to shell out the extra cash that would entail, Plextor may just have the product for you. The PX-B120U (via Engadget) is a portable USB Blu-ray drive that can also burn blank CDs and DVDs. It can function entirely off of USB power, which makes this baby perfect for long car trips and international flights.
The PX-B120U will set you back $99.99. According to the press release, it will soon be accompanied by the launch of the PlexMedia player. This home entertainment center will have a slot for you to "plug in" your Blu-ray drive, thus giving this gadget a place in your life at home or on the go.
