Apparently Samsung's idea to have two LCD screens on its digital cameras - one in the back and one in the front, to make it easier to take self portraits - has worked because the company is introducing a new line of those with bigger front-side LCDs.
Samsung was the first to market with such a camera when it first introduced the DualView line late last year. Those initial cameras had a 1.5-inch screen on the front of the device. The new ones will have 1.8-inchs screens.

Other than that, the DualView ST100 and ST600 will be pretty much identical to the previous models. The LCD screen on the back will be 3.5 inches, fairly large for a digital camera.

The focal length of the ST100 will be 35 - 175 millimeters, while the ST600 will be 27 - 135mm. They are slated with retail prices of around $330 and $350. Every other feature besides focal length is the same, which explains the close price points.

Other features include a 14.2-megapixel sensor, HD video recording at 30 frames per second, and a 5x optical zoom.

The new cameras are set for release in September of 2010.
