The new 6 core AMD CPU is already shipping from NewEgg for $309.99. As reported yesterday, the new AMD Phenom II X6 1090T is available for pre-order on Amazon, but it looks like NewEgg is first to ship it and also has a lower price.
This is the highest end of the processors in the AMD desktop line and is selling for around $300. The BE processors are multiplier unlocked for overclocking and more.
The CPU runs at 3.2GHz or 3.6GHz with Turbo Core on and uses socket AM3 board.
