Samsung Unveils PL200 Slim Digital Camera

Samsung has offered up a new point and shoot camera that is compact in size with a high-resolution sensor. The camera is called the Samsung PL200. The little camera measures 3.9" x 2.3" x 0.83" and has a 3-inch rear LCD.

Despite the small size of the camera, it has a 14.2MP sensor and can record 720p resolution HD video as well. The camera lens has 7x optical zoom and records HD video in H.264 format. Other features include both optical and digital image stabilization.

The camera also has smart auto in still and video modes. Blink detection, face detection, beauty shot, and smile shot are all integrated as well. The camera will ship in September for $179.99.
