Onkyo has hopped into the crowded digital photo frame market with a new offering what has a big screen and claims to be the world's highest resolution digital photo frame. The new frame is called the LPF10M01 series and can be had in black or white versions.

The frame is set to ship on August 9 at undisclosed pricing. The 10.1-inch screen has a resolution of 1024 x 600 and is LED backlit. Other than showing digital photos, the frame also has HDMI inputs.

Those inputs mean that the fame can be used to show video from Blu-ray players and other sources. The contrast ratio is 500:1 and the brightness is 250cd/m2. The device has 512MB of storage and has a memory card reader built-in.
