Canon has announced a new firmware update for its prosumer EOS 7D DSLR digital camera. The camera has been on the market for a while now and the new firmware update fixes a few issues with the device.

The new firmware is version 1.2.2 and it fixes an issue where the set aperture moves when shooting movies in manual mode. The update also addresses an issue with the AF point selection behavior in some custom modes.

The other major fix for the firmware is an issue with the AF point display when the viewfinder is used in vertical position. The firmware can be downloaded right now free.
