Sony unveiled the interesting 3D display prototype now called RayModeler back last fall. Sony is showing off the 360 degrees 3D display at the SIGGRAPH 2010 this week.
The small 3D display does not require glasses to see the "holographic" effect.
The Sony 360 degree 3D display has a diameter of 130mm and is 270mm tall. The resolution of the LED display is only 96x128 pixels, but has 24-bit color depth.
Below you can watch a video demonstrating this cool 3D display. Via this Sony Blog. Now Sony just needs to increase the size to 50 inches and make a product out of it we can buy and put on our living room table.
