Apple unveiled the new line of Mac Pro computers last Tuesday. With up to 12 cores the new Mac Pro pushes the performance of OS X yet again, if you can afford it.
Apple has only said that the new Mac Pro will start shipping in August. According to MacRumors, reports from Apple fans come in that Apple reps talk about August 9th as the date when new Mac Pros can be ordered.
It is not known yet how soon after August 9th Apple will actually be able to ship a new Mac Pro to you.
There is still enough time for you to think about how many cores and if you jump the gun on a SSD on the new Mac Pro. Apple has not yet revealed the pricing on a 12 Core Mac Pro though. Learn more about the Mac Pro on the Apple site.
