Jailbreaking your iPhone has never been easier before. A hacker named Comex from the iPhone Dev Team released a browser based Jailbreak for the iPhone 4, older iPhones, iPad and iPod touch dubbed JailbreakMe 2.0.
Just visit JailbreakMe.com with your iPhone and follow the instructions. After letting JailbreakMe do its magic you can install unapproved apps and teak your iPhone beyond what Apple is comfortable with.

There has been issues with FaceTime after the jailbreak, but Comex seems to have fixed it along with an issue on iPad 3.2.1.
JailbreakMe 2.0 works up to iPhone OS 4.0.1.
