The JailbreakMe iOS solution makes jailbreaking your gadget easier than ever. All you need to do is visit the website to get the whole process going. No mess or fuss required. This makes things super-convenient for you and I, but it also presents a fresh new headache for Apple employees.
Redmond Pie reports that multiple conniving pranksters have taken advantage of JailbreakMe's simplicity. They've used it to jailbreak several iPhone 4s that were still in the Apple Store at the time. This is amusing to all of us, but it probably meant one hell of a hassle for every employee who will have to deal with the aftermath of these jokes.
It won't be long before Apple takes action to ensure this can't happen again. If you want to get your jollies by hassling some poor, overworked retail employees, the time is now.
