Alright, hold onto your rumor caps. We've got a bumpy one for you today. Over on the UWants forum an image of a new HTC smartphone has leaked out. This new mobile is believed by some to be the Desire HD. Earlier rumors paint this device as a 1 GHz powered monster with a 4.3" display and an 8 MP camera. There'll be 4 GB of internal storage, Android 2.2, 720p recording, Xvid playback, and SRS surround sound.
Honestly, there's some reason to question this one. The leaked photo doesn't bear much resemblance to the original Desire. It is also hard to see what niche this smartphone would fill, being basically a 3G version of the Evo. As impressive as these specs are, there isn't much to differentiate it from the slew of other next-gen Android smartphones on the market. It didn't take long for seeing new phones with the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor to get boring.
