Today, the Internet has been lousy with new iPhone rumors today, so it is nice to see something about the next iteration of the iPad family. Digitimes reports that an upgraded pad with a 9.7" display and a Cortex A9 processor is due for Q1 2011. It will have a full 512 MB of RAM.
An iPad-mini is also expected. It will have the same processor and a 7" IPS panel with a resolution of 1024x768. This isn't the first we've heard of the iPad mini, but I recommend taking all such news with a grain of salt until hard details emerge.
