Today we have our first leaks on a new Motorola Ming handset running the Android OS. These China-bound smartphones (Electronista) have transparent flip-covers. The A1680 will pack a 3.1" AMOLED display with support for 3G, WAPI & WiFi. It has GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, a 5 MP auto-focus camera and 512 MB of on-board memory.
That space can be expanded by way of a microSDHC card. The processor is a 624 MHz Marvell and the Ming has 256 MB of RAM. There is an accelerometer and the screen can recognize handwriting. With any luck, we'll see this thing launch outside of China at some point.
