Verizon Wireless has landed a new basic phone form Samsung called the Gusto. The thing looks like a phone that you would have wanted back in 2003. It's an old school flip phone with a small outer display and a 2-inch internal screen.
It can connect to the mobile web and has all the messaging options you expect including text and picture. The Gusto has a VGA camera with night shot capability. The device also has Bluetooth.
One of the odd features of the device is called Fake Call. It lets the user set a timer to make the phone ring to get them away from those weird people you really don’t want to talk to. The device is also VZ Navigator capable. The Gusto will sell for $19.99 after a new contract and a $50 rebate.
