Nice work, MSI.
MSI has a very pretty entrant to the tablet market on the way. SlashGear reports that the WindPad will launch at IFA 2010 next month. This slick slate packs an Atom N530 processor, 10.1" touchscreen display, 2 GB of RAM and a 32 GB SSD. It runs Windows 7 and has a docking station with 2 USB slots, audio in/out, ethernet, VGA & HDMI.
The WindPad itself packs a USB slot, HDMI & a headphone socket. It'll set you back around $499, with no word yet on battery life. That's a fairly important thing to know but, even if it doesn't come close to the iPad, good design and a ton of horsepower may be enough to sway buyers.
