The Asus Eee pad has been the target of several big rumors over the last few months. Now PC World reports that the Eee Pad will be launching in several iterations. The initial slate will hit in January, it will have a 12" display and cost around $1000. It will come with a docking station that turns it into a laptop computer.
This tablet will run Windows 7 and pack an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. A second tablet will launch in January, with a 10" display, no docking station, and Windows Embedded Compact 7 edition. It will cost between $399 & $499. The first Android Eee Pads are due to hit in March and will launch for under $399.
