The Samsung Galaxy Tab Android Tablet has appeared before, but technical details are still sparse. Now Samsung has released in Europe a firmware update for the Galaxy Tab P1000 a bit early.

The firmware reveals some of the technical details behind the iPad challenger. The screen resolution fo the Galaxy Tab is supposed to be only 480x800px on a 7-inch screen. The CPU is a 1Ghz ARM and it has GPS, Wifi and Bluetooth integrated.

It is not clear yet if the Galaxy Tab is employing a Super-AMOLED screen. Via OLED-Display.

The Galaxy S Android phones are good, which keeps makes me hope that the Galaxy Tab is in interesting Android Tablet.
