The new receivers include the RC270 and the RC260. They share many of the same features including 7.2-channel sound HDMI 1.4a interface, and support for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio codecs. Both units also have Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz along with a Faroudja DCDI Cinema Video processor offering upscaling to 1080p from any source resolution.
The RC270 adds some other nice features like THX-Select 2Plus certification and an Audyssey MultiEQ for superior room equalization. The receiver is also DLNA 1.5 and Windows 7 compatible and can stream Internet radio content from Pandora, Rhapsody, and others. The RC260 sells for $499 and the RC270 is $849 with both available now.
