The Samsung Galaxy Tab is just leaking out all over the place today. First, a firmware update slips out and reveals details on the upcoming slate's technical specs. Now Engadget has managed to get a hold of an inventory shot from Vodafone UK which shows a "Samsung Galaxy Tablet Contract" as pending.
Of course, this isn't hard confirmation of anything. But when you combine that with the news that the tab may be unveiled next month at the IFA show in Berlin, it seems a little more compelling. The volume and spacing of these most recent leaks points towards an imminent unveiling and near-future launch for this tablet.
Currently, we expect the Tab to have a 7" display (480x800) with a 1 GHz ARM processor, GPS, WiFi & Bluetooth. Nothing further has been confirmed, but the Tab's status as an expanded version of the Galaxy S has lead to some speculation that the 7" display may be SUPER AMOLED. That would be extraordinarily expensive, but if any company can eat the cost it is Samsung. They produce most of the world's AMOLED displays, after all.
