Pandigital to ship Second eReader with 7-inch TFT Color LCD

Pandigital has announced that it will be shipping a second eReader soon called the Novel 7-inch color Multimedia eReader with model number PRD07T20WBL1. The reader will have a high gloss black bezel and weigh 11.8 ounces. The device has a 7-inch LCD screen that supports touch capability and has a stylus that you can use and store on the side of the reader.

Internal storage for the device is 2GB and it has an SD card slot that supports up to 32GB SD cards. The resolution of the screen is 800 x 600 and allows you to highlight words, bookmark, and change the font as needed. The reader also has a night reading mode that reverses the colors for easy reading in the dark.

The tablet supports PDF and EPUB formats and has up to six hours of battery life in reading mode. The device also has WiFi and a web browser. Power comes from a rechargeable lithium ion battery and it runs an ARM 11 mobile processor. The device will sell for $199.99 and ship next month.
