Porsche unveiled the Porsche 918 Spyder Plug-in hybrid sports car at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year. Back then it was just a concept. Then later this year Porsche announced plans to actually make this limited edition green Porsche. Planned for shipment in 2013, the select few customers can have the 918 Spyder as soon as 2012 reports NTV.
The price of one of the 918 Porsche 918 Spyder that will be basically hand assembled is 500,000 Euro (~$635,000).
For this fantasy price you get an amazing looking 2 seater with a 500HP V8 engine and three 40KW electric motors. The details of the drive train are still fluid and reports differ widely.
