Best Buy will be pushing tablets hard this Christmas season. Forbes reports that Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile, has confirmed the new push in an interview. New slates are expected to hit before the holiday season rolls around. Dozens of devices aren't to be expected, but there will be way more than the one currently available.
The only tablet Best Buy was specific about is a semi-mystery device (pictured above) due out from Rocketfish. It is rumored to pack Android 2.2, but other than that we know nothing about it. In addition to Android and iOS, future tablets are expected to run Chrome, Windows 7, webOS & Linux.
Best Buy's tablet focus will go beyond their big-box retail outlets. Expect to see these next-gen computers pop up at Mobile outlets as well.
