Intel announced today that a dozen of new netbooks based on its new mobile dual-core Intel Atom processors are available in stores today. The new N550 netbooks are available now and through the end of the year from manufacturers including Acer, ASUS, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba.
The new Dual-Core N550 Netbooks support DDR3 RAM and promise to offer a more responsive mobile computing experience.
I could not find any N550 Atom CPU Netbooks at online retailers so far. One N550 netbook to look for is the Aspire One D255. Either Intel jumped the gun, or the new dual-core netbooks are only available in stores so far.
If you spot a N550 netbook online please post a comment.
