George Lucas Sues Jedi Mind for $5M

A company called Jedi Mind has been around for a while now with different software and devices that users can control with their mind. I have always been surprised that George Lucas didn't sue them into oblivion for using the Jedi name in their products.

Apparently, Lucas and his company sent Jedi mind a cease and desist back in 2009 and Jedi mind promised to phase the use of the Jedi name out of its products and then didn’t deliver. Lucas has now filed a trademark infringement suit against Jedi Mind to the tune of $5 million.

LucasFilm seeks injunctive relief and damages estimated at no less than $5 million. Lucas claims trademark over all things associated with the epic Star Wars franchise.
