JVC has announced the launch of a pair of new camcorders called the GC-WP10 and the GC-FM2. Both of the camcorders re designed for 1080p resolution recording and good low light performance. Each of them also has a 3-inch rear touchscreen.

The touchscreen allows the user to operate the camcorders and view the video being played back. The camcorders are also compatible with Eye-Fi cards and the GC-WP10 is a waterproof camcorder, which is the only real difference between the two offerings.

The cameras also have HDMI outputs and record at 30fps. The camera can record in 1080p, 720p, and iFrame resolution. The camcorders can also shoot 5MP still photos and come with LoiLoScope EX for Windows to allow users to edit and upload the video directly to YouTube and other sharing sites online. The GC-FM2 will ship in early September for $179.95 and the GC-WP10 will ship in late September for $199.95.
