Canon has unveiled the latest digital camera in its DSLR range called the EOS 60D. The new camera can shoot still shots with an 18MP APS-C sensor and can record full HD 1080p video as well. The camera uses the DIGIC 4 image processor.

The rear LCD is 3-inches, tilts, and swivels for better shots using Live View. The 1080p resolution video can be shot at 30, 25, and 24fps with 720p resolution video in 60fps or 50fps. Full manual controls are available when shooting the HD movies.

The ISO range is 100-6400 and can be extended to 12800. Bursts can be shot at 5.3fps for up to 58 images in a row. The 60D also has a 9-point auto focus system and an integrated speedlite transmitter for flash sync. Pricing and availability are unannounced.
