The field gets smaller.

Fujitsu has rolled in out of left field with a new Lifebook tablet that actually sounds kind of awesome. RegHardware reports that the Lifebook T850 will be out late Q1 of 2011. It will have a 10.1" display, found-around dual-digitizer, stylus and touch support and a core i5 processor-possibly a special low-power Core i5.

Otherwise, expect GPS, optional 3G, a Berliner Glass display and an eight hour battery. It'll weigh 1.4 kg. This sounds promising IF (and this is a huge if) that 8 hour time is actual, in-use with 3G time and not just a theoretical maximum that will never be seen in the field. The iPad's 10 hour battery life ended up shorting the actual life somewhat, so maybe that will be the case here. I sort of doubt it though.
