A new iPod touch could be coming tomorrow at Apple's September 1 media event. This rumor has been bandied about since we first heard that the Cupertino-based company had something planned for tomorrow. But now, thanks to Redmond Pie, we may now have an idea of what to expect from that new touch for the first time.
They report (via AppleInsider) that "people familiar with Apple's plans" believe a 3G iPod touch to be imminent. If this is the case, 3G connectivity could become merely another option for iPod touch customers to choose from, as it is with the iPod. There doesn't appear to be any hard backing behind these rumors for now, but we'll know the truth soon enough.
