The THX II Certified audio system is a $995 option on the MKX for 2011 and packs in all sorts of cool tech. The system offers 5.1 surround sound and can upconvert your MP3s to surround sound as well. The optional stereo has 600W or power.
That power is fed out to 14 speakers strategically placed for ideal sound. The speakers include an 8-inch sub for bass and a THX Slot Center channel speaker. The system also has a 12-channel DSP controlled amplifier. The 2011 MKX will sound as good as it looks.
