HP Unveils Envy 14 Beats Edition Notebook

HP is showing off several new notebook computers today and among them is the new HP Envy 14 Beats edition. The new notebook has a 14.5-inch screen with HD resolution and runs Intel Quad core processors.

As the Beats name suggests, the machine has premium Beats Audio and the rig looks like pure evil with the black finish and red lighting effects. A backlit keyboard is a very nice touch. The machine can be fitted with Radeon HD 5650 graphics and up to 8GB of RAM. Storage is up to 640GB with SSD options.

The notebook ships with Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements software installed. The machine is good for up to 6.5 hours on the standard battery and up to 13 hours with the optional extended battery. Pricing for the Envy 14 starts at $1249.
