HP has announced the debut of a new addition to its line of netbooks. The new machine is called the Mini 210 and is defined as a companion PC by HP. The machine is intended for the work that most netbooks are capable of handling like surfing the web, checking email, and listening to music.

The 210 has an integrated webcam, mic, and an island-style keyboard that is almost full size. The machine can also be fitted with the new dual-core N550 CPU and can be had with the N455 and N475 CPUs. The little netbook measures in at 1-inch thick and weighs 3.1 pounds.

The standard flush fit battery of the 210 is good for 10.75 hours. The 210 comes in charcoal, crimson red, lavender frost, luminous rose, and ocean drive. An optional 10.1-inch screen is available with HD resolution and optional Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced video accelerator is also available. Pricing starts at $329.
