Apple will release the new iOS 4.1 next week. The new iPod touch 4G will already ship with iOS 4.1 pre-installed. The new iOS release brings the Game Center, iTunes TV show rentals, iTunes Ping, High Dynamic Range (HDR) photo capture and HD Video upload via Wi-fi. Some bug fixes, like the proximity sensor are also in this release. There are no new things in regards to the antenna coming.
Yesterday Steve Jobs showed off AirPlay. With Airplay you can watch a video stored on the iPad or iPhone on the new Apple TV instantly, no wires required. AirPlay will be enabled on your iPad and iPhone with iOS 4.2. iOS 4.2 will also mark the point when all iOS devices will be on the same release level.
A Chinese tech firm that says it owns the iPad trademark, plans to seek a ban on exports of Apple’s computer tablets from China, a lawyer for the company said. If successful, the move could deal a blow to the U.S. technology giant’s iPad sales worldwide. ...
