Windows Phone 7 is officially Ready To Launch. RedmondPie reports that Microsoft has just announced that their next stab at a smarpthone OS is now in the RTM phase. The "release to manufacturing" stage is the point at which an OS is ready for public consumption. The ball is now in the manufacturer's courts.
Once they've nailed down their launch devices and are ready to ship, we'll have our first wave of WP7 phones. Multitasking, Twitter integration and copy/paste are still missing from the RTM.
