Sonos and Spotify have announced that the S5 will be getting an update really soon that will allow it to stream content from Spotify without needing a computer. The user will need a Spotify premium account to use the streaming service through.
The S5 will have the ability to play any artist or track wirelessly through the home on other S5 speakers. The Spotify music will be streamed at 320 kbps. Control over the Spotify stream will be offered via the free Sonos controller apps for Apple devices.
