Sonos has offered its full range of streaming music devices to send audio all around the home wirelessly for a long time now. The company has a bunch of offerings like the Sonos S5. Spotify is a streaming music service in Europe that lets the listening listen to a huge amount of content for a monthly subscription.

Sonos and Spotify have announced that the S5 will be getting an update really soon that will allow it to stream content from Spotify without needing a computer. The user will need a Spotify premium account to use the streaming service through.

The S5 will have the ability to play any artist or track wirelessly through the home on other S5 speakers. The Spotify music will be streamed at 320 kbps. Control over the Spotify stream will be offered via the free Sonos controller apps for Apple devices.
