Apple unveiled iTunes 10 yesterday with an integrated music social network dubbed Ping. Social networks these days work with each other, especially bigger ones, to make it easy for users to gain access across networks. In Ping there is though no Facebook or other network. Today a Facebook connect button briefly appeared according to MacRumors.

In an interview with Kara Swisher from AllthingsD yesterday, Steve Jobs said: "Facebook wanted onerous terms that we could not agree to." Steve Jobs did not provide further details. My guess is that Apple will just try to go without it and see how well Ping gets adopted.
