A new rumor says that the Deutsche Telekom is loosing its iPhone exclusivity deal still this year opening the door for O2 and Vodafone to officially sell the iPhone.
Dow Jones says that two persons familar with the matter confirmed that rumor. If this is really come true remains to be seen. It could be that the Telekom deal with Apple is indeed expiring this year, but the Telekom might renogitate with Apple to extend the exclusivity. The iPhone has also been good to the Telekom, I do not see the carrier just let that go away easy.
Rumors of the end of the iPhone exclusivity of AT&T has been going on since at least a year. Germany is just getting started.
