If you are a fan of exotic cars, you may know that the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is the current fastest car in the world with a top speed of 268mph. That is crazy fast for a production car and that Bugatti is one of the most expensive cars on the planet.
A new car that hails from America is set to dethrone the Veyron Super Sport and grab the world's fastest title. That car is the new SSC Ultimate Aero II. The top speed of the Ultimate Aero II is pegged at somewhere north of what the Veyron is capable of.
The Aero II is an awesome looking vehicle and the full specs will surface soon in the coming issue of Top Gear magazine. The shot here from Jalopnik is apparently a full size mock up of the final vehicle.
